Reducing the quantity and improving the quality of stormwater runoff in your community starts with you. As a homeowner, you have to ability to reduce the amount of pollutants that enter stormwater and the amount of stormwater that leaves your property by implementing some simple BMPs.

As each homeowners situation is different, you can begin by taking a close look at the practices around your home that could be contributing to stormwater pollution. We offer some helpful tips, organized by category to help you prevent stormwater pollution in your community.
